Jeremy Doku has hailed goalkeeper Ederson after some crucial saves helped City secure a 3-2 Premier League victory over Fulham.

The goalkeeper made a fine early save from Adama Traore with the game still goalless, before Andreas Pereira poked in the opener for the visitors.

Mateo Kovacic then levelled with a deflected strike, before the Croatian doubled his tally shortly after the interval.

Ederson was once again called into important action from the electric Traore, who raced through on goal and fired on target, but again, Ederson was equal to the effort to keep our lead intact.

Doku then extended our lead with a spectacular long-range strike, and Rodrigo Muniz pulled a late goal back, but we claimed all three points.

“I don’t think there’s any doubts about how good he is as a keeper,” said Doku after the game when quizzed about Ederson.

“He’s saved us a lot, not only in this game. But he’s always there to help us, even with the ball.

“He’s a very reliable goalkeeper, as I should say.”
