Ederson’s time at Manchester City is put under the microscope in the second instalment of the self-titled documentary focusing on the goalkeeper’s live and career.

Ederson: Europe lifts the lid on his spell at Benfica and his move to the Etihad Stadium and is now available to watch on CITY+.

Featuring archive footage of him playing for the Lisbon giant’s youth team, episode two begins by exploring how Ederson established himself in the Portuguese capital and includes interviews with former manager Rui Vitoria and another Brazilian goalkeeper, Julio Cesar, who he displaced at Estadio Da Luz.

It was his form there which brought him to the attention to City and, we also hear from Ederson himself, as well as Fernandinho and Txiki Begiristain about his arrival in Manchester, whilst Kyle Walker and goalkeeper coaches Xabi Manciscidor and Richard Wright explain what it’s like to work with the Brazilian and what it is that makes him so special.
