Erling Haaland has made an incredible journey to becoming one of the best strikers in the world and a place in the Champions League final.

The City striker said he always dreamed of playing in the Champions League final and, on Saturday, Pep Guardiola’s side have the chance of claiming a historic Treble when he face Inter in Istanbul.

Playing in the final will cap a remarkable first season at the Etihad for Haaland who has already collected Premier League and FA Cup winners’ medals.

And he has made a phenomenal contribution with 52 goals in all competitions, including 12 in the Champions League to make him this season’s top scorer.

Growing up in Bryne on the south-west tip of Norway, the youngster always had the belief that he could become one of the world’s best footballer.

It’s a home that remains incredibly special to Erling and the town is just as proud of their famous export.
