The prolific Norwegian became our record scorer in the competition with his brace against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.
It took him to 38 strikes in just 41 appearances for City, surpassing Sergio Aguero who hit 36 in 64 games for the Blues.
In total, he’s netted 61 goals in 60 appearances in Europe’s elite club competition, having scored eight times for RB Salzburg and on 15 occasions for Borussia Dortmund.
Haaland is already the third top scorer in our 132-year history and now has 172 goals in 207 games for City.
Only six men have ever netted more in the entire lifespan of the European Cup, while no player in the top 50 comes anywhere close to his ratio of more than a goal per game.
He claimed the tournament’s Golden Boot in his debut campaign in Manchester, scoring 12 times as City lifted the trophy following a historic 1-0 defeat of Inter in Istanbul.
