Erling Haaland may be the name on everyone’s lips right now but every player contributed to his latest goal against Southampton.

Haaland scored his 15th Premier League goal in City’s 4-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium.

Joao Cancelo gave City the lead on 20 minutes before Phil Foden‘s fine form continued with a delightful chip on 32 minutes.

Riyad Mahrez hit the third just four minutes into the second-half with a cracking volley.

But it wouldn’t be a City matchday without Haaland getting on the scoresheet and when it eventually arrived, on 65 minutes, it was a work of art.

As well as being a fine finish to complete the scoring against the Saints, it was the build-up which really caught the eye, with 21 passes in the move.

That’s the joint longest passing sequence leading to a goal in the Premier League this season.
