Erling Haaland believes he can take his game to a new level under the watchful eye of Pep Guardiola.

The Norwegian joins the Club on the back of an outstanding two-and-a-half years at German side Borussia Dortmund.

In that time, the 21-year-old found the net an astonishing 86 times in 89 appearances. He also became the youngest player to reach 20 Champions League goals which he achieved in just 14 matches for Dortmund and RB Salzburg, the quickest to the milestone in the competition’s history.

That incredible goalscoring form has continued at international level, with the forward having found the net 20 times in just 21 senior appearances for his home nation.

However, Haaland insists that there is still plenty for him to work on in the coming years to continue his rapid rise.

And he is confident that joining Manchester City and working under Pep Guardiola will provide him with the perfect platform to do exactly that.

“I think I can develop a lot under Pep and in this Club,” the Norwegian told mancity.com.

“I think I can get better on a lot of things and hopefully I can score a lot of (goals).

“I have spoken a little bit with him. We are both looking forward to working together.”
