Haaland was keen to mark the reveal of his 10-year deal on his own social media channels.
So he asked first team content lead, Alex Cuschieri, to help film an artic announcement in the Manchester snow.
It’s been unseasonably nippy in the region of late so it was bitter conditions as the pair headed out to capture the chilly content.
Haaland is renowned for his lotus-style goal celebration, as he mimics a meditative state soon after finding the back of the net.
And this formed the basis of the video that appeared across his digital estate.

Starting from a distance, the camera gets closer and closer to his face complete with tranquil expression.
As it closes in on him, the 24-year-old opens his eyes and the audio kicks in with: ‘I’m here to stay!’
The video, also shared across our official Manchester City channels, sent City fans wild with delight.
And no wonder, given the impact he’s made in his two-and-a-half years to date.
In his first campaign at the Etihad, the Norwegian international helped City’s march to a historic Treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
The striker claimed an incredible haul of 52 goals in all competitions – the biggest-ever tally by a Premier League player – as well as hitting a record total of 36 league goals, with Haaland also winning the Premier League Golden Boot.
In his second season, he collected the Super Cup and yet another Premier League title, his second and our history-making fourth in succession on top of yet another Golden Boot.
Another piece of silverware has since come his way in the form of the Community Shield and he’ll be eager for more honours in his next decade in the sky blue.
No doubt today’s news will have received a frosty reception from his defensive opponents!
