From the moment he first arrived at Manchester City to the final game in Istanbul, it was a remarkable maiden campaign for our striker.
Arguably, no player has made a bigger instant impact on the Premier League as the then 22-year-old broke a host of records to help us to a historic Treble.
Among them, Haaland’s total of 52 goals in a season was the most in all competitions by a player at a Premier League club and the most by any City player in our history.
He also set a new Premier League record with 36 goals as we secured our third successive title with six hat-tricks along the way while he was also the top scorer in the Champions League as we won the trophy for the first time.
But it wasn’t just goals that made Haaland’s first season so special as his humility and hard work some him integrate perfectly into Pep Guardiola’s squad.
From the day he signed to that joyous night in Turkey, it’s been an amazing and emotional 12 months for our number nine.
