Pep Guardiola says Jeremy Doku is making a step to another level.

Our Belgian winger rescued a point for the Blues with his second stunning goal of the game as we came back from 3-1 down to rescue a 3-3 draw at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Doku, outstanding throughout, ensured we left Merseyside with a point to keep our title hopes alive.

“He make a big step up with that, winning games. He is starting to be a winning player,” said Pep.

“He’s always been incredible but in the final third maybe he miss the last pass, but he arrives there many times.

“In the second half we start really well and arrive there a lot.

“Then we give two or three balls away and their momentum came, but in the end we came back.

“The message is the same as before. We have five games left and it’s difficult for many reasons, but we’ll be there.

“We have to win our games. It’s in Arsenal’s hands and if they win their games they will win the league.

“What we have to do is win our games and recover well. We have a series of games every three days.”
