The classy midfielder today signed a new contract at the Club which will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2026.
Throughout his illustrious time in Manchester so far, the Portugal international has made 308 appearances, scoring 55 goals and registering 59 assists to date.
Since signing from Monaco in the summer of 2017, he has also lifted a mightily impressive 14 major honours including our maiden Champions League in June 2023.
There have been a swathe of highlights during his time with Pep Guardiola’s team including his goal of the season effort against Aston Villa in 2021/22 and his brace in the 4-0 Champions League semi-final victory over Real Madrid last term.
