The Brazilian’s lobbed pass for Omar Marmoush’s first strike against Newcastle United means he has now contributed more assists than any other goalkeeper in Premier League history.
He overtakes Paul Robinson, who picked up five across his top-flight career with Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur, Blackburn Rovers and Burnley.
Our man is up to three in this campaign alone, which also sets a new record - with several goalkeepers previously notching two in the same term.
As well as his three assists this term, he also supplied his team-mates once each in 2018/19, 2020/21 and 2022/23.
Three of his assists have teed up Erling Haaland, while he’s also supplied Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan before the sixth pass for Marmoush.
Remarkably composed in the face of high pressure from opponents, he often opts for short, incisive passes to the backline.
However, he’s equally capable of picking out a player further up the pitch or - as was the case with these goals - sending a striker in behind.
Outside of the Premier League, he also supplied Raheem Sterling at Schalke in the 2018/19 Champions League - a pass that features here too!
