The Norwegian arrived at the Etihad Stadium last summer from Borussia Dortmund with a formidable goalscoring reputation.
And Haaland has proven his knack for finding the net time and again in 2022/23, with his currently tally standing at an astonishing 42 goals in 37 games.
It’s the most of any City player across a single season, with the Norwegian breaking Tommy Johnson’s 94-year record with his fifth goal against RB Leipzig in our recent UEFA Champions League clash.
That incredible scoring rate against Die Roten Bullen was also the fifth time that Haaland has found the net three or more times in a match this season.
Since then he has added another match ball to his collection, firing three in the FA Cup quarter-final with Burnley at the Etihad Stadium.
His first came back in August, when Pep Guardiola‘s men got the better of Crystal Palace, with the forward repeating the trick just four days later against Nottingham Forest.
Another treble followed in his maiden Manchester derby appearance, with the Norwegian becoming the first player to grab three successive hat-tricks on home soil in Premier League history in the process.
His fourth three-goal haul of the season came in January when City beat Wolves, before his eight goals in just five day window against Leipzig and Burnley.
