The 28-year-old had another prolific season in the heart of City’s engine room, totalling 50 appearances in all competitions.
He found the back of the net eight times in the Premier League, his highest tally in a single campaign since he moved to Manchester in 2019.
And those eight strikes also saw him place fourth in City’s goalscoring ranks with only Erling Haaland (27), Phil Foden (19) and Julian Alvarez (11) bettering his tally.
It didn’t take long for Rodrigo to get his scoring underway when he converted our third in our opening day win over Burnley. And it wouldn’t be the last time the midfielder found the back of the net against Vicent Kompany’s side.
Rodrigo also scored in both home and away legs against Chelsea and Sheffield United.
His final two goals came against Aston Villa and West Ham, with the latter our final Premier League goal of the 2023/24 season as Pep Guardiola‘s side went on to lift the trophy for a historic fourth successive campaign.
