A first half Ilkay Gundogan brace proved the difference as City made it 10 Premier League wins in a row against Leeds.
The German midfielder scored twice inside 10 minutes with virtually identical strikes from Riyad Mahrez‘s assists.
City could and should have further extended our lead with Gundogan also seeing a late second half penalty hit the post.
And when Leeds substitute Rodrigo then netted with three minutes left it led to a nervy finale.
But Pep Guardiola‘s side held firm to extend our lead at the top of the Premier League table to four points.
