That’s a record by the way – in fact, last year’s journey set the record at six in a row, with this season’s run further enhancing that accolade.
In those semi-finals, we have won three and lost three – emerging victorious in the last two so we’re looking to reach the final three times in a row for the first time.
In this time, we’ve lifted the trophy twice - in 2018/19 during our Fourmidables campaign and 2022/23 as part of a historic Treble.
We’re aiming for a third success under Pep Guardiola – and eight triumph overall in the competition, which would put us third in the all-time rankings alongside Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham.
But there’s still serious challenges en route with in-form Nottingham Forest our last four adversaries this time around.
Forest have two FA Cups to their name in 1898 and 1959 with one runner-up in 1991 where Brian Clough’s men lost to Tottenham.
So far this term, we have won one and lost one to the Tricky Trees.
Who will win the third clash between the sides? The winner will be back at Wembley for the FA Cup final in May.
Now that’s some incentive!
