Pep Guardiola has spoken of his satisfaction at seeing City’s renewed hunger and appetite for success this term.

Since returning from the September international break in particular, the reigning Premier League champions have been in sensational form.

Ahead of Tuesday’s latest Champions’ League Group G trip to FC Copenhagen, the team recorded three straight home wins against Manchester United, Copenhagen and Southampton, scoring 15 goals in the process.

And speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of our return clash with the Danish champions, with Nathan Ake also addressing the media, the City boss revealed how he liked the way his squad were demonstrating their renewed appetite for success.

“The last games were better. In general, it is good,” Pep declared.

“We can do better in many aspects, but I am satisfied. We play a game every three days, so we don’t have much time to analyse or think about our situation.

“I don’t have much time to analyse specific situations. But in general, it is good.

“The last two three games we are playing better and this is the level we had the last three or four seasons. The team is still here, I like this, we did not disappear. This is good.”
