Christmas is a time for sending love and well wishes, spending quality time with those close to us.
Unfortunately, this year, that may not be possible for many around the world and so, we tried to share some festive warmth in other ways.
We invited our loyal Cityzens to nominate someone close to them to receive a special City Christmas surprise.

Jason - a Blue for 49 years - knew of a special someone who was deserving of the prize: close friend Paul.
Paul emigrated to Canada more than 30 years ago but still manages to come and watch his beloved City when possible.
Sadly, he has endured a tough year with his parents suffering from illness and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he has been unable to return to the UK to visit the Etihad Stadium.
Looking to share some Christmas cheer, Jason nominated Paul for the City Surprise, and the pair received a video call from Paul’s favourite player: Fernandinho!
Adored by all connected to the Club, Ferna is of course a fans’ favourite and he enjoyed a chat with the Blue duo, which even sparked an impromptu chorus of the Brazilian’s terrace chant!
Ferna then virtually presented Paul with a signed shirt, before telling him the Club will fund his next trip to watch City when fans are welcomed back home into stadiums.
