McAtee followed in fellow teenager Delap’s footsteps by signing a new long-term contract earlier this week.
The pair both got further valuable first team minutes under their belt as we overcame the Championship leaders to seal our fifth round place.
And for Ferna the pair’s appearance was another exciting signpost to the future.
“I am not surprised - I know them really well they have been training with us since the beginning of the season,” said the skipper.

“I am pretty sure in their future they are going to be part of this club
