James McAtee, Savinho, Bernardo Silva, Jeremy Doku, Nico O’Reilly, Stefan Ortega Moreno, Joshua Wilson-Esbrand, Nathan Ake, Rico Lewis, Josko Gvardiol and Phil Foden went head-to-head with our popular content creator and presenter on the latest EA SPORTS release in a game of first goal wins.
It didn’t start well for FG with McAtee, clearly an expert gamer, sliding home his opener after just 38 seconds – with FG blaming a dodgy controller!
Savinho took more time to find the net but FG waxed lyrical about the Brazilian’s skills on the game while there was tension in the air as he faced Bernardo who said he hadn’t played in years! Unfortunately for FG, it ended up as another loss.
Doku also emerged victorious – and his virtual character had a hand in the victory by both winning and scoring the decisive penalty.
FG finally picked up a point as he faced O’Reilly and then followed it up with another triumph against Ortega Moreno.
Wilson-Esbrand and Gvardiol got the better of FG while Ake, Lewis and Foden were all defeated, with our 2023/25 PFA and Premier League Players Player of the Year seen off in controversial circumstances!
