Enjoy some of our memorable matches against Manchester United ahead of this Saturday’s FA Cup final.

Derby day is always among the first games that fans look out for when the fixtures are announced in the summer.

This season, the domestic campaign will end with the two teams facing each other at Wembley in the first-ever all-Manchester FA Cup final.

To get you ready for Saturday’s clash we’ve picked out five memorable derbies from recent years.

We start back in September 1989 at Maine Road when a young City side full of homegrown players beat Sir Alex Ferguson’s side 5-1 on an unforgettable occasion.

Our last Maine Road derby was in November 2002 with Shaun Goater scoring twice in a 3-1 victory.

In October 2011, we headed to Old Trafford and equalled our record for the biggest derby win with a 6-1 win.

That set us up for the Premier League title ahead of United on goal difference and thanks to a 1-0 victory courtesy of Vincent Kompany at the Etihad six months later.

We finish with a game from earlier this season when Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick in a 6-3 victory in his first Manchester derby.
