Kevin De Bruyne capped off a clinical City display with a curling 25 yard strike.

Foden, who now has three goals and one assist in his last two appearances, is hungry for more.

“I’m very delighted,” he said. “The last two games I look back to normal and back to myself.

“I’m feeling comfortable in my feet, I had a small injury.

“Now you can tell I’m back and I’m hungry to help the team as much as possible.

“I’m claiming it [second goal], of course! I’ll have to watch it back. A few of the lads said it could have been an own goal.

“I’ll have to see it and check it.”
