Phil Foden has showered praise on all-time City leading goalscorer Sergio Aguero after he netted twice in his final league appearance for the club.

Aguero‘s double helped City to a 5-0 victory over Everton at the Etihad Stadium after earlier goals from Kevin de Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and Foden.

The striker is to leave City after the UEFA Champions League final next weekend after an incredibly successful decade with the club, winning five Premier League trophies and becoming the top-flight’s record holder for most goals at a single club.

Foden showed his appreciation to the City legend after the match.

“He’s unbelievable isn’t he? You know how much the fans love him and all the players. You can see that today when he scored everyone ran over to celebrate with him.

“I was a ball boy here watching him for many years score so many goals.

“It’s sad to see him go but I wish him all the best in whatever he does next.”
