Pep Guardiola believes John Stones has done more than enough to earn a recall to the England squad.
The City defender grabbed his fifth goal of the season against Fulham and was voted the man of the match.
He has been in stellar form since returning to the first team and his manager couldn’t be happier with him.
“He deserves it,” said Pep, when asked if Stones should now be recalled to the national team.
“Of course Gareth Southgate knows better than me what he needs, but I would be delighted and happy if he is back in the national team.
“Another great performance. The goal was so important. The way he played, I am so happy.”
