Pep Guardiola joined Kevin De Bruyne and Fernandinho in facing the media ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final.

This weekend’s showpiece in Porto represents our first European final in 51 years, with each and every one of the squad playing a huge part in that success.

It therefore comes as no surprise for the City boss to shed some light on the difficult decisions he has had to make with regards to team selection for our clash against Chelsea.

Meanwhile, De Bruyne described featuring in a Champions League final as a ‘privilege’ and called for his teammates to try and enjoy the occasion as best they can.

And Fernandinho insists that ours and Chelsea’s league finishes have little bearing on how things could turn out at the Estadio do Dragao, and also singled out Phil Foden for particular praise.
