Antoine Semenyo scored the winner in the 1-0 victory over Chelsea at Wembley as we lifted the FA Cup while Marc Guéhi was outstanding in a man of the match performance.
Added to that were a number of young players and new signings that featured including James Trafford, Abdukodir Khusanov, Nico O’Reilly and Rayan Cherki.
Guardiola says it took some time for them to gel but now believes City are in an exciting place.

“I took time to click something,” he said. “I miss something in the process but in the last two months I’ve felt stability in the team that I didn’t find in the past.
“Maybe you need a little more time but competitions don’t wait.
“We found a difficult opponent in the Champions League but since then we have been extraordinary and the future is bright.
“I know how they feel and I am pretty sure we will be there next season.”
