Despite sitting in eighth, Guardiola has no doubts about his team’s mentality, but acknowledged that his side may be going through a period of readjustment.
“There is no doubt about the mentality, sometimes we need to refresh our principles,” he said ahead of the Newcastle game.
“There are things you have to readjust and sometimes you need more time that expect. That is the challenge.”
Guardiola added. “We won an incredibly tough game against Southampton and now the next one is Newcastle so we’ll see our level game by game.”
