Erling Haaland’s first-half double had us in control at the interval, before Antoine Semenyo added a third and Haaland completed his 12th hat-trick for City to book our spot in the last four at Wembley with our 18th successive home victory in the FA Cup - a new competition record.
James Trafford also played an important role, saving Mohamed Salah’s spot-kick shortly after the hour mark to preserve our clean sheet.

When speaking to City Studios after the game, Guéhi said:
“It’s difficult when you play such a good team, with so many good players, sometimes you have to ride that wave.
“And I think gladly today we suffered well as a team. And dealt with those big moments.
“It was great that we came out the other side of it. I’m super proud of everyone.
“It’s good [clean sheet]. Not just me, but everyone, it’s a nice one, a big fat zero on the scoreboard.
“Super happy for James as well with the penalty save, he’s fantastic. When you get a clean sheet it’s definitely a team performance.
“We’ll definitely be happy but everyone’s contributed to that.”
The defender also spoke about his joy for Haaland after his treble and touched on the winning mentality embedded into the squad after reaching an eighth successive FA Cup semi-final.
