Erling Haaland was overjoyed after scoring twice to help City to a 2-0 Premier League victory over Everton.

The striker broke the deadlock after 71 minutes, firing into the roof of the net for his first goal since November.

His second followed shortly after, coolly slotting into the bottom corner, taking his league tally to 16 for the season.

The striker was elated after finding the net. He said:

“It’s a fantastic feeling. It’s fantastic to be back and it is also good to keep on winning. It’s important. We have to keep on going.

“Yeah, it was a great goal [first goal] and a fantastic feeling.

“Back to normal finally, it’s good to be back to normal. It was a great goal [second goal].”

The Norwegian also spoke about the team’s run of 10 successive victories and touched on Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League trip to FC Copenhagen.
