Erling Haaland has expressed his desire to score more goals after becoming the fastest player in history to reach 20 Premier League goals after his brace in the 3-1 victory over Leeds.

Our number nine netted a second-half brace at Elland Road, assisted twice by the lively Jack Grealish, to reach the tally after just 14 top-flight appearances.

The striker admitted that even he didn’t expect such a successful start to his life at City.

“It’s fantastic to win and fantastic to be back, so I’m really happy.

“I didn’t expect it to be like this. But what can I say? I’m proud and I’m hungry for more. We have to keep winning.

“I’m going to go in and give him [Grealish] a big hug, he deserves that.

“He could have scored, I could have scored a couple of more goals, but two fantastic assists from Jack, so I’m really happy.

“I’m feeling much better, I had the World Cup break. I’m ready to go again soon.”

The Norwegian also provided his verdict on Rico Lewis after the teenager made his first Premier League start, and touched on why his goals at Elland Road felt extra special.
