Sergio Aguero then came on of the bench and within minutes he had doubled our advantage with a typical poacher’s finish.
And an own goal from Alvaro Gonzalez then rounded off the night with our third - and brought up 1000 City goals at the Etihad in the process - to set the seal on a fine night’s work.
