It was an afternoon to remember for Pep Guardiola’s men as they swept aside the Blues to make it through to the Fourth Round of the FA Cup.
Riyad Mahrez scored the first of the game with a sizzling 25-yard free-kick before Julian Alvarez doubled the advantage from the spot after a penalty was awarded for a Kai Havertz handball.
The third was the goal of the game as Phil Foden finished from close-range following a brilliant team move, involving Rodri, Mahrez and Kyle Walker.
We went in 3-0 up at the interval but there was one more goal in the second period, Mahrez blasting home a penalty earned after Foden was felled in the box.
