We start in Sao Paulo where Fernandinho and the Premier League trophy visited our Cityzens Giving Young Leaders. Our captain took part in a Q&A and shared his thoughts on the project, which uses the power of football to help tackle local water challenges.
Then, it’s a trip to Turf Moor for a Premier League game against Burnley where first-half goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan clinched another crucial three points.
With Gundogan making history as the league’s highest-scoring German player, he shared a joke with our Club Journalist David Clayton in his post-match interview!
Pep Guardiola‘s men had little time to savour the victory with a huge Champions League quarter-final first leg visit of Atletico Madrid on Tuesday - De Bruyne again the hero in another memorable night under the lights.
Then, focus turned immediately to Sunday’s crunch league clash against Liverpool with the division’s top two going head-to-head, as the squad put in the hard yards on the training pitches and Guardiola faced the media.
