The Treble winners began the defence of our league crown with a trip to newly promoted Burnley who had returned to the top flight under the guidance of decorated former sky blue captain, Vincent Kompany.
Before we travelled to Turf Moor, though, it was certainly a busy seven days for Pep Guardiola and his players which has been documented in the latest episode of Inside City.
The week began with Phil Foden swapping a football goal for a basketball net before our players enjoy the annual Premier League media day.
This saw them partake in a number of activities, while also modelling our brand-new away kit for the first time.
As preparations for our meeting with the Clarets intensified, there was time for Kevin De Bruyne to gift his teammates a personalised iPhone in celebration of our magnificent Treble achievement last term.
Then, it was all eyes on Burnley as we opened the term with a strong 3-0 success thanks to goals from Erling Haaland (two) and Rodrgio.
