In Episode 385…
Ruben Dias and Riyad Mahrez tested their touch ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Burnley with a game of football tennis, with Bernardo Silva sitting in to judge the contest!
But the Portuguese midfielder soon got out of the umpire’s chair to help steer City to a deserved 2-0 victory over Burnley later that afternoon, grabbing the first goal of the game en route to claiming man of the match.
Cole Palmer came off the bench late on in that win over the Clarets for his second Premier League appearance, but his exploits in sky blue were far from over that day.
Just two hours later, the 19-year-old made the short journey over to the City Football Academy to help Brian Barry-Murphy’s Elite Development Squad to a 5-0 win over Leicester City Under-23s, claiming a hat-trick for good measure!
After enjoying a well-earned rest on Sunday, the focus was firmly placed on our Champions League Group A clash away to Club Brugge, with the team travelling over to Belgium on Monday evening and reunited with Brazilian duo Gabriel Jesus and Ederson in the process.

City would go on to hit five for the first time in a Champions League away game at the Jan Breydel Stadium, with Palmer on target once again to claim his first senior European strike for the Club, and fourth goal in just four days.
A light recovery session followed, with Kevin De Bruyne proving he’s equally adept with his hands as he is his feet, sinking four successive three-pointers at the indoor basketball court!
Finally, it was time to refocus on our domestic commitments, with an intense session at the City Football Aacademy helping to sharpen City up ahead of Saturday’s 17:30 (UK) kick-off away to Brighton.
