As the final stages of the campaign come firmly into view, every result between now and the end of the season could be of huge significance to each of our sides.
And it was a memorable seven days across the board for City, with Pep Guardiola’s men progressing in both the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup, our Women’s team coming out on top in an eight-goal thriller, and our Elite Development Squad and Under-18s both securing silverware.
The action-packed week began in Bavaria, as City locked horns with Bayern Munich in the second leg of our Champions League quarter-final clash.

Guardiola’s men held a three-goal aggregate lead ahead of the encounter, with Erling Haaland’s second half strike earning a share of the spoils on the night to see City safely into the last four.
A recovery session after another battling performance followed the next day, but there were still plenty of smiles accompanying the hard work – keep an eye out for Bernardo Silva and John Stones taking a dip in the pool in particular!
But it was straight back to the grind for City, with attentions turning to an FA Cup semi-final with Sheffield United.
Riyad Mahrez took centre stage in the capital, becoming the first City player to grab a hat-trick at Wembley Stadium, with each of his strikes captured from our unique Pitcam angle.
With a spot in June’s FA Cup final secured, it was our EDS’ turn in the spotlight.
Just 24 hours after our Under-18s secured a fourth successive regional title, Dire Mebude penalty and Carlos Borges brace earning them the win they needed against Blackburn to retain the Premier League 2 crown for an unprecedented third consecutive campaign.
Our cameras were there to capture it all, with some incredible celebrations after each goal and in the changing room after the match!
And another busy week drew to a close with a thrilling 6-2 win for City over West Ham in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
A brace from Chloe Kelly, plus further strikes from Laura Coombs, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, Mary Fowler and, on her birthday, Steph Houghton saw Gareth Taylor’s side move up to second in the table.
