A Portuguese international, the midfielder joined City on deadline day from fellow Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
After going through the usual medical tests, Matheus made his way to the City Football Academy to complete the move.
On the way, however, we learned that our newest recruit’s singing voice is almost as good as his ability on the pitch, as he professed his love for 80s music!

Arriving at the CFA, the midfielder conducted his first interview as a City player as well as posing for our studio cameras for some social media content.
Next, he made his way to the boardroom to sign on the dotted line, posing with his new City shirt, before finally making his way to the recovery room to meet the rest of the photography team.
