A behind-the-scenes look at our hard-fought 1-1 draw with Arsenal.

The Blues earned a point at the Emirates Stadium after a battling display in North London.

We took an early lead when Erling Haaland rounded off a swift counter attack, picking up Tijjani Reijnders’ ball in behind before firing into the bottom corner.

It was the first goal that the hosts had conceded from open play this season, with Reijnders also testing David Raya in the early stages as City looked to extend our advantage.

But we had to be at our best at the other end as well, with Arsenal dominating possession in pursuit of the equaliser.

HUDDERSFIELD v CITY: MATCH PREVIEW

Gianluigi Donnarumma was called into action to twice deny stinging drives from Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze, while Martin Zubimendi also fired over from a promising position after the restart.

Though chances were at a premium, City still packed a punch at the other end, with Haaland forcing a save from Raya on the counter attack before seeing Eze’s deflected clearance ricochet just over the Arsenal bar.

But despite our best efforts, the hosts’ pressure would eventually tell in stoppage time when Gabriel Martinelli got in behind the City defence and lofted the ball over Donnarumma.
