Jack Grealish is aiming to reach similar performance levels to the one he reached against Barcelona in the coming months.

The winger was on target for City against the Spanish side in the third pre-season friendly of our USA Tour, as Pep Guardiola‘s men were edged out on penalties after a 2-2 draw.

Grealish picked up play from Mateo Kovacic and found the top corner from a tight angle, drawing us level on the hour mark.

Picking up the captain’s armband for the second half, the winger was one of City’s standout performers in Orlando, and is hoping it’s a sign of things to come.

“I’m happy with the way I played,” the England international said.

“I said in the press conference the other day that I want to come here and show that I’m back fit and back playing with the confidence I know I can have.

“Hopefully we can have more performances like that.

“Obviously I want to score more goals, get more assists and help the team like anyone does.

“I’ll take on what the manager says and hopefully moving forward I can do that.”
