Having made his debut in the Community Shield at Wembley, Grealish had the opportunity to address supporters at his unveiling event on Monday, where he answered questions, gave away signed merchandise and posed for photographs.
Our new signing took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the support he has received from fans so far and said it was dream come true to be a City player.
“Thank you for the welcome,” he said to the fans in attendance.
“For those at who were at Wembley the other day, I had a brilliant welcome from all the City fans, so I want to say thank you for that.
“I made my debut here a long time ago now, but since then the club as just been going up and up. [It’s] obviously run brilliantly from top to bottom and we’ve got the best manager in the world here.
“It all played a big part in me coming here and playing with the players – I think everyone knows how much I love De Bruyne – so playing with players like that is just going to be a dream come true.”
