Manchester City’s latest signing has only taken part in a handful of training sessions since he arrived at the Club on Thursday, but has already been deeply impressed with Guardiola’s football philosophy.
The attacking midfielder admitted the Catalan was a major factor in him signing for City and is certain Guardiola will improve him as a player.
“He can take my game to the next level,” Grealish said at his first press conference.
“I will listen every day and I cannot wait to work with him. I’ve been here two days and the way he is in training is unbelievable. I can’t actually believe it.
“Pep was a massive factor in me coming here.
“The few days I’ve been here, it’s crazy to see the manager work the way he does. It’s no surprise how successful he’s been. Some of the tactics he has are out this world.
“I would never think of them but when you see it you see why he’s so successful.”
