Gabriel Jesus has admitted his desire to keep up his good form after the Brazilian scored the winner against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The 24-year-old’s 53rd minute strike was enough to seal all three points for Pep Guardiola‘s men in London - marking the manager’s 221st victory as City boss, a new club record.

Jesus has six direct goal contributions in seven appearances across all competitions already this season and he is keen to keep up the good form.

“I’m trying to improve every day. I’m working hard and training a lot.” he said.

“So when I get the chance I can play well and help my teammates. I’m very happy with this start to the season for me and the team.

“I think the most important thing is to keep this going and play good every single game. 

“We came here to try to play good, enjoy the football and play with confidence to win the game. That is all.”

Jesus also touched upon how City managed to grab the win and also spoke about the upcoming fixtures.
