John Stones has been named Etihad Player of the Month for December.
The centre-back played five times during the month across all competitions, and received widespread praise for the quality and consistency of his performances.
In fact, we didn’t concede a single goal in any of the five games Stones played in, and he was given man of the match for his display against Manchester United at Old Trafford and the 2-0 win at home to Newcastle on Boxing Day.
