Joleon Lescott swapped football for fighting as he trained with UFC star Kevin Holland during Manchester City’s pre-season tour of the United States.

The former City centre-back met up with Holland during the Houston leg of the tour, where he was put through his paces by the 29-year-old welterweight.

Since turning professional in 2015, Holland has chalked up 23 wins from his 31 UFC bouts and was voted male fighter of the year by BT Sport in 2020.

Lescott had the opportunity to quiz the fighter on his career so far, to find out more about life inside the octagon.
