The 22-year-old Argentina forward has arrived in Manchester and will join up with Pep Guardiola‘s squad for pre-season.
He got his first glimpse of the Club’s loyal support on Sunday afternoon when he was introduced to them at the Etihad Stadium alongside fellow summer signings Erling Haaland and Stefan Ortega Moreno.
New arrivals at City have to get to grips with the Club’s distinctive style of play, and Alvarez hopes his bedding in period will be a short one.
He said: “I’m going to give my best to adapt as soon as possible and contribute and play as soon as possible.
“I have had time to prepare mentally. Hopefully, I will settle here now and contribute to this club.”
