For most players it a dream come true.
For the majority who win the World Cup, it’s a once in a lifetime experience.
Julian Alvarez is still floating on air from his magnificent tournament in Qatar, where he became so integral to the momentum Argentina built up on their way to glory.
“It hasn’t really sunk in,” says Alvarez.
“This is what I have been dreaming of my whole life, so to actually achieve it brings me so much satisfaction.
“Because it was such of dream of mine and my family, so yeah, to have done it is such a special feeling.
“It’s a moment I am never going to forget.”
Julian is a given a selection of photographs to talk us through, from lifting the World Cup to the remarkable reception back home to millions of ecstatic fans.
“It made us understand our achievements spread such great happiness,” he adds.
He goes on to reveal how the tournament progressed, the pre-match rituals and plenty more besides
“Wow! The final!” he smiles, before concluding: “This World Cup is for you, City fans!”
