Kevin De Bruyne has showered praise on Savinho after the winger's three assists helped City to a 4-1 Premier League victory over West Ham United.

The Brazilian’s cross deflected into the net off Vladimir Coufal to hand us an early lead, before his skilful run and cross resulted in Erling Haaland heading us two goals ahead.

MATCH REPORT: CITY 4-1 WEST HAM UNITED

The 20-year-old’s perfect through ball set up Haaland for our third and De Bruyne‘s pass found Phil Foden to strike in our fourth, before the visitors pulled one back through Niclas Fullkrug.

Savinho scored and assisted in last weekend’s victory over Leicester and produced a Man of the Match display this time around at the Etihad, and De Bruyne revealed his joy for his teammate.

“He had a lot of moments where he did really well,” he declared. “I think he started the season really well, then obviously with us doing a little bit less it was hard on him, for a young player.

“Lately it seems like he’s found confidence again. Scoring last week can help, and today he had a really good performance.

“I’m happy for him.”
