Our goalkeeping duo sit down to chat about life between the sticks.

While goalkeepers are, of course, in competition for just one starting spot, it’s clear to see that City’s stoppers share a close bond.

Indeed, the duo chat openly about how their role has evolved since their first years in football, with a greater emphasis placed on ability with the ball at their feet.

With this in mind, Ortega Moreno also reacts to some of Carson’s highlights from his time between the sticks at City as well as at former Clubs such as Liverpool and West Brom.

Their relationship with Ederson - who Ortega Moreno reveals was the first player to welcome him to the Club - is also touched upon, as well as with goalkeeping coaches Xabier Mancisidor and Richard Wright.

Ortega Moreno has played in every round of City’s march to the FA Cup semi-finals, and they also discussed the prospect of the German making his first Wembley appearance against Sheffield United on Saturday, should that run continue.

Against a Blades side on the cusp of promotion back to the Premier League, the duo agree that a date in the final against either Manchester United or Brighton was far from guaranteed.
