Kevin De Bruyne says the prospect of winning the Champions League with City would be 'something amazing'.

In eight memorable years at the Club, the Belgian has been a pivotal part of our incredible success.

So far, however, a Champions League final triumph has eluded us.

But having won the Premier League and FA Cup already this term, De Bruyne and City now have the chance to finally become European champions and seal the Treble against Inter in Istanbul on Saturday night.

And De Bruyne, speaking at Friday’s pre-match press conference, said the tantalising prospect would mean the world to him.

“I have been here a long time! For me it has been incredible the eight years I have been here and I have had lots of high moments,” De Bruyne reflected.

“We have been consistent in this competition. We now need to find a way to win the first one.

“If we were able to do it, it would be immense for the club, the fans - it would be something amazing.

“I am very proud and happy with what we have achieved as a team.

“We’ve done really well as a team. We are very happy.

“(But) we want to make the next step tomorrow to make it even more incredible, that’s the only thing I can say.”
