He beat Fernandinho and Aymeric Laporte to the prize after a superb month across all competitions.
The Belgian midfielder scored four times in five appearances, netting a brace against Southampton, whilst he was also on target against Borussia Monchengladbach and Everton, where his impact off the bench swung the cup tie in City’s favour.
It was a well-deserved win.
We sat down with Kevin to hand him his award and ask him questions you submitted.
What’s the biggest lesson he learned as a young player was? What’s the funniest thing he’s seen in training? And what’s his favourite sport aside from football?
“It’s always nice to get recognition from the fans,” he said. “I try to do my job for the team and if you guys vote for me, It’s always a pleasure.”
