We go into Sunday’s showpiece at Wembley seeking a ninth triumph in the competition’s history, leaving us just one behind record winners Liverpool.

Fernandinho grabbed our only goal in 2016 to take us to a penalty shootout against Liverpool before Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva ran riot against Arsenal two years later.

A goalless draw followed in 2019 before Aguero and Rodri earned the 2020 trophy at the expense of Aston Villa.

Aymeric Laporte is our most recent match winner in the final of this competition, heading home against Spurs in front a reduced crowd due to COVID in 2021.
